The committee is responsible for assisting with uniform packaging, uniform and credential distribution at the volunteer orientation meetings in the month prior to the championship and to staff the volunteer area during the tournament. The committee will also be responsible for ensuring all volunteers have a positive tournament experience. Volunteers are needed Monday through Sunday.
This group assists TOUR and Tournament staff with the erection, maintenance and removal of tournament infrastructure. Volunteers will be need on Thursday to Sunday prior to the tournament and also Sunday of tournament week.
These individuals are responsible for collecting tickets and ticket payments at the gate and providing event information to the spectators. The Will Call ticket function is also conducted at Admissions. Volunteers will be needed Thursday to Sunday.
This group manages the clubhouse parking area, ensuing only designated people are provided with access. Volunteers will be needed Thursday to Sunday.
These individuals are responsible for managing the practice facility, ensuring that player hitting bays are stocked with clean range balls and club cleaning bins are provided. Volunteers will be needed Monday to Sunday.
Volunteers will be responsible for ensuring water stations located through the golf course, practice facility and clubhouse area are stocked with bottled water and ice. Volunteers will be needed Monday to Sunday.
This group is responsible for ensuring the golf course is kept clean throughout the tournament. Volunteers will be needed Monday to Sunday.
This group will be located in a stationary position within the clubhouse and are responsible for man-aging the TOUR’s Shotlink scoring system. These volunteers will ensure that scores inputted by Walking Scorers are accurate and transmit ruling requests to Rules Officials. Volunteers should have a strong knowledge of golf and be highly efficient with computers. Volunteers will be needed Monday to Sunday.
There are five manually operated leaderboards located around the golf course. Volunteers will use tablets to look up live scoring information and replicate that information on a manual leaderboard. Volunteers will be needed Thursday to Sunday.
These individuals will walk 18 holes with a designated group and input each player’s score and stroke trail (i.e., where the player hit from—tee, fairway, bunker, green, etc.) into a scoring device. Volunteers should have a strong golf knowledge and are comfortable with basic technology. Volunteers will be needed Thursday to Sunday.
Standard Bearers walk with the group and the walking scorer, posting each competitor in the groups score (To Par) on a standard for spectators to see. This is a physically demanding position, as you will be required to walk a minimum of 18 holes and carry a standard. Volunteers will be needed Thursday to Sunday.
These individuals assist with the operation of the official pro-am. Volunteers will be on Tuesday.
Volunteers will assist the PGA Tour Canada Media Official with managing the media room and fulfilling media requests. Volunteers will be needed Tuesday to Sunday.
Volunteers on the hospitality committee will work in corporate areas throughout the golf course. Volunteers will assist in the admissions process and act as a concierge for the designated corporate areas. Volunteers will be needed Thursday to Sunday.
This group works directly with the PGA Canada Tour staff to ensure the players have a memorable experience. Volunteers will assist with player registration and other player related items. Volunteers will be needed Monday to Sunday.
These individuals are primarily stationery and work to control spectators on the golf course, and assist players with locating tee shots. This role may involve standing for long periods of time. Volunteers will be needed Thursday to Sunday.
Shuttle drivers are responsible for transporting players between the golf course, the host hotel, and in some cases, the airport. A tournament sponsor supplies the vehicles for the week. (Valid driver’s license required for this role). Volunteers will be needed Monday to Sunday.
